Gusset refers to the structure that is very common in packaging materials and bags and purses as well. As compared to a normal bag, a gusset gives extra space on the corners of the bag which kind of gives it a 3D effect when loaded with materials as compared to normal bags. These extra sides on corners can also be used for branding. The main advantage of Gusset is that it increases the capacity of the bags.
